Session Details

 A little about my Photography

My photography style is casual, fun, and bold. I love finding the most random places to photograph my clients and bring out the beauty in every aspect of the shot. When working with my clients I strive to provide a unique & fun experience for all I’m photographing. Don’t be alarmed if I bust out some crazy loud, not normal laugh. It usually gets priceless reaction that I’m more than ready to capture on camera.  I love to incorporate  a clients personal style and interests in to photo shoots as well. If a family spends summer nights around their campfire in the back yard, well then lets take photos of you doing just that! If your family travels a lot, well then bring along some empty suitcases and we will pretend you are on a new journey using the heel-toe-express!  There is no wrong idea when it comes to YOUR custom photography session. After All it is all about you!

How to book me!

To get the ball rolling and your name written in pen in my calendar we will first meet in person, have a skype date, or chat via phone/email to discuss your photo shoot! Once we have nailed down the minor details, agree upon a date and location, as well as discuss your goals for the shoot.  After that is taken care of, I will have you fill out a contract on this website and submit your session fee. I accept Cash, Check or Credit Card. (there is a 3.5% processing fee for credit cards) I must receive payment within 14 days of booking your session, otherwise your appointment date/time will be released.

Location, Location, Location!

The location of your photo shoot can be A-N-Y-W-H-E-R-E! I’m always up for an adventure! I do primarily shoot on-location and use God’s gift of beautiful light to fill your images with color and brightness. I do sometimes shoot in my studio as well but only upon request. The location of your shoot can be in your home, in a field, on a mountain, the list goes on. I do have some super secret spots I would love to share with you to help make your vision come alive! Don’t be afraid to scout out spots you love while taking your Sunday drive, I do!  I also travel to various locations for little or no traveling fees. Travel fees will be discussed upon booking.

Best time to be photographed!

My photo sessions are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I currently reserve the weekends for Weddings and family time. If weekdays do not fit your schedule please let me know and I can see if I have any openings.  I prefer to hold all sessions two hours before sunset to achieve the best lighting for your session. In the summer time I usually start sessions around 6:30pm, during winter, it could be as early as 2:30pm.

Boutique ordering sessions

Because you have chosen me as your custom photographer, you will receive a unique experience to preview your photos from our photo shoot. Within fourteen (14) days of the session your final photos will be ready to view. At the end of your photo shoot we will schedule a time for your in-studio viewing appointment. During your appointment we will view your images and then begin your ordering process. I will go over the many products that are available and help you customize your prints choices to best fit in your home. If you are unable to do an in-studio viewing, I will send you a password-protected link to view and select your final photos and collection(s). This link will only be available for 24-hours (1 day). If you need additional time after the gallery expires. Each additional one-day link is $25.  All images not ordered during your session will be archived for 30-days. After 30 days they will be purged and available for a recovery fee of $175, at that time you would be given 48 hours (two-days) to place your order.

Once you have placed your initial minimum order ($400), I will e-mail you a password  protected link to share with your friends and family so they are able to order prints of their choice. This link will remain active for thirty (30) days. All of your final images will be included in this link as well. This will provide you with the opportunity to order any prints from me that may not have been selected during your ordering session.

Printing Your Photos

My digital collections offer selected digital images on a DVD to you, which in turn, comes with a printing release. To ensure the best quality image I encourage clients to use a Mpix.com to print their images they receive from me on their DVD. I know places like Wal-Mart or Costco are quick and convenient  my strong preference is that you don’t print your images there.  Turn-around print shops are designed to maximize the efficiency of the toner cartridges. This means, if the toner is low on green, the grass in the photo you are trying to print may have more cyan or yellow in it, hence, altering the color composition of the photo. If you have ever noticed your photo looking a little off color.. this is why.
